Binary Number System and Ohm’s Law

Posted: February 16, 2012 by lordhadrianus in Pre-Steve Era, Steve Era

In our engineering class on Mondays and Wednesdays, we learn about the different items in a circuit, and the theory of what robots we should do. Two main things we learned were the Binary Number System and Ohm’s Law. Ohm’s Law is I=V/R or V=IR. The Binary Number System is based on using the numbers 1s and 0s. To see a binary number converter, go to the website:

Look what we made in Processing

A simple interactive art program which creates a trail of oscillating squares behind the cursor! Code thanks to Sir bObswald (aka Adrian).

You can download the java applet by clicking the link below and play with it for yourself. We also might add onto it and publish it on the android market or Mac AppStore.

Processing

The MeetSteve team is working on Processing code, which allows us to render art, as well as different animations and shapes. Before Steve draws something, we need to draw it out ourselves in Processing. Processing is basic and very easy to learn, you can download it at www.processing.org.
